Default Here's one for you

ingredients;
potatoes, raw onion,egg x2 pps,1/4 of a block of butter pps,salt,pepper and vinegar

cut up onion and put on plate,
boil your tatties
hard boil your eggs
melt 1/4 of a block of butter.

put the boiled tatties and eggs on the onion chop into mouth size pieces
pour over the melted butter add salt pepper and vinegar

i know i know it sounds like EEEW but i guarantee you, you'll love it. my grandma used to make it during the war as there was no meat about try it what have you got to loose. if you do let me know what you think

Tad too much butter, but apart from that sounds great. Could also add mushrooms, peppers etc, if you have them. Wholegrain mustard too. Possibly topped off with grated cheese and baked in the oven.

yes i agree but ... but you must try it as is first before you change anything and re the butter adjust to suit. but it does get soaked up by the potatoe dont for get this was a war time meal so you used what you had to hand
