courgette pasta (using the whole plant) hi everyone.
i some post about courgette i mention about a courgette pasta using courgette, flowers and the whole leaves.
in past i said to use the small leaves but i realized that instead wait for the leaves getting bigger and yellow, once a week cut a leaf from each courgette plants so you can have enough leaves for a dish for 2 ( i have 10 courgette plants)
this is my harvest.

after that you need to pull out the strings that are in the leave otherwise you will found in your plate. to do that you can just use a knife as i do in this picture

after you clean all the leave you need to chop everything in piece but separate the flowers. now let boil a pot with salty water and then drop the veg ( except the flowers) in the pot. let boil for 5 min and then add the pasta.

when the pasta is ready stir in a pan with olive oil, chopped garlic, and the flowers.

enjoy

Thank you Sarico. It really does look delicious and the photos are a great help, especially with the stringing. If I manage to grow any courgettes this year, I'll give it a go.

Oh wow! I'd never had thought you could eat the leaves and stems.
Thanks for posting that- you've given really clear instructions- thank you!
I'll certainly be giving that a go
