| Hi my turnips are ready! I have only ever put them in stews in the winter or added to male mashed potato more interesting. Does anyone know anything exciting I can do with them? Thanks janeyo |

| Thanks for all your suggestions! I am going to cube them and parboil, then saute in butter. I am going to use the tops as greens too. I assume steaming these will be better? Do I slice them like spring greens and cabbage or leave them whole to wilt like spinach? janeyo ![]() note to self must remember to only grow stuff I know what to do with in the kitchen lol - but where's the fun in that!? |
