    Would you eat a banty?

    Mornin' all

    I have three banty cockerals which I don't really want to keep; if I did the deed can they go for the pot, they are about 23 weeks now.

    I don't see why not though there might not be much eating on them.

      Obviously won't be an awful lot of meat,but can't see why not....gotta be bigger than a quail!

        Yup- of course they can go in the pot!!
        ..and they'll probably be the most tasty meat you've ever eaten!
        We'll eat ours when the time comes...so long as someone 'does the dead for us'

          Lots of birds are eaten that are smaller than bantams so I see no reason why you can't eat them!

            Yep, small, but tasty, and 23 weeks is not a bad age for it.
            Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
