Just went out to lock the girls up for the night and noticed Gwendolyn's lost a toe nail, and cut her foot. 
She was bleeding a little bit, so I brought her in...bathed her foot and put some flour on it so stop the bleeding. I'm sure she'll be ok - pretty positive she's done it today when she was digging (like a mad woman) for worms!
She's back in her wee house with her sisters - in the dark, snuggled up and sleeping. I'll keep an eye on her tomorrow to ensure she doesn't open the wound again. I don't want the others pecking at it!!
Anyone else had experience of this?
My poor wee girl! Got a couple of cracking pics of her cuddling up to the oven for a heat though!!

I love to talk about nothing. It's the only thing I know anything about!! 
You're right about the pecking. My OH has a couple of burns on his arm and the hens keep pecking at him.
