Default Puffy Eyes...!?!

Wondering if any of you have experience of a hen with puffy eyes. I don't know how to explain it really...her eyes are fine, but the skin around her eyes seems to be puffy and pale today. It seems to be all the skin around her eyes and down towards her wattle. Her comb is perfectly normal...perhaps not as red as usual, but she's only been out and about for 3 weeks after being broody for a month....(Henrietta, for the regular readers!).

She's fine in herself...eating and drinking fine...looking after 4 chicks no problem at all.

I only noticed it today, but in all honesty...I haven't given them a thorough check over in 5 days (swine flu!) so could have been like this for longer.

I'm not overly worried...just wondering if anyone has any experience of it, or knows what it might be.

Ta!

Has it been very sunny???
Could it be a touch of sunburn ( that's he most delicate skin which is exposed)...although it suppose it wouldn't be pale

Possibly worth getting eye cream from the vets (it should work on the area around the eyes as well)my cockerals were a bit like that after they'd been scrapping, though wether from getting knocked about a bit (only minor scuffles) or from the dust I'm still not sure to this day....
