Default Mixing bantams and big girls

Is it advisable to mix bantams with the bigger chooks? We want to get 3 chickens and my daughters want a big one each and I quite fancy a bantam but don't know if this is a good idea? Thanks.

I have golden partridge pekin bantams in with a welsummer and 3 black rhodes. They get on fine and the bantam cockeral has even fertilised the big girls eggs. My advise go for it.You won't regret it
