    Here are some piccies of when they were about 18 weeks- and then today( 32ish wks).

    Au Vin is ze big boss ( darker wing feathers)
    Paxo is t'uther 'un...brothers or half brothers or something..Cayenne bantam cross I think ( maybe Roitelet can remind me!)

    Have to say that I'm very proud of them today as they suddenly froze and tipped their heads sideways - and there , above was a buzzard surrounded by 9 rooks.
    I'd certainly not heard them, and I don't think Bertha had- but she legged it into the coop with babes close to heel.

      I'm so pleased to hear bertha takes her baby inside when there's danger. We have a buzzard fly over us and my girls freeze like statues.
      When you have such lovely boys it's a bit difficult to think about dispatch isn't it? Glad your neighbours don't mind them. When I stay with my sister in France, the surrounding noisy cockerels don't bother me at all. All part of being in the country really.

            id wanna keep my boys if they are as beautiful as yours (wanna keep mine anyway, but not gonna happen) ....... so glad you get to keep them and good that they are so protective
