    i want more

    OH has decided he wants another cockeral around the garden, after Claude passed suddenly last summer

    So i said ok, but i want more ex-batts as i love lookin after them. Anyway i went on the bhwt website and its all changed ( not had any new hens for quite a while) I cant find the lady near Ashford, but there is another lady in Biggin Hill just emailed her.

    I dont want to wait now i have decided i want more, im so impatient!

    does anyone know of any ex batts needing a nce cosy new home with generous garden to destroy

    I dont mind traveling a bit to get them i just want some now

    (me me me me me im a spoilt princess and i want them now)

    Have you looked at the Hen Rehomers site?

    Unfortunately their next rescue isn't till the 22 May, which doesn't quite fit in with your request for NOW (The waiting is difficult I know) But I think this is earlier than any BHWT rescues

    To see if they come to our neck of the woods look at the application form and click on the 'Preferred Collection Centre' field

      There's also Little Hen Rescue and Free_at_last. All have web sites or are on Practical Poultry web site under Battery and Rescue Hens. They're all based around South/East ish I think.

                    tlck i did have a reply today so fingers crossed thanks for the nod on FB

                    not to worry valentino, my claude(RIP) had a bit of kamakaze about him! he may have been smaller than the girls but his attitude was something else.
                    On a sensible note whence the new girls are settled ( when i get them hurry up may!) I will think about a new rooster
