i have noticed a bit of a flaw in the perch design, the chooks can easily jump the height of the platform but with 2 perches in, they can't get on them
so i've had to take one out ...... cos i just went in and they were snuggled in the straw, and i'm mean and want em to sleep on the perches so the splat tray catches the night time splats, which hopefully will keep the bedding clean longer.
so do i put a ladder to the perches?? will that work? they are about 4 foot up one perch is ok for now, but it won't be with more chooks or when they get bigger ..... so if i put it to the perch, what's the best way to make them a ladder??

the only reason for the second one is so they can hop on that to get to the taller one ........ i put shavings on mine too after the first couple of splats splatted up the wall ....yuck
