does it matter that Sox does not 'cover' the girls,unless he does when I'm not looking?
he does wingdown dance, he is definately in charge,he sleeps in the middle of hen formation on perch 'one in front, one behind, two each side, is it because he's a bit smaller than them do you think?spose it doesn't matter, never seen him chasing them, he's always very calm and I love the way that if one treks back across the garden to the coop to lay, he brings the others back to a distance where he can make little trips in between the nest boxes and the main group,chatting away to them
