    Culling courses

    Hi,

    Does anyone know of anywhere local (ish) to northamptonshire that runs cullings courses (doing the deed, plucker, boning etc)?

    Found a place down in hampshire, but bit of a trek!

    Not heard of any anywhere but I could do to go on 1 really if I'm to take my project through to its final conclusion

      Not sure where you are based but the one i have found is on www.chickerkeeper.co.uk , look under courses section.

        Have you tried Moulton College - it's an old agricultural college that expanded, so if anyone's going to do it, they should.

          Well £40 for the course and 2 chickens to take home doesn't sound too bad compared to other chicken keeping courses, so I think I'd be willing to pay that. However, Hampshire is quite a long way from Stafford! So taking petrol costs into consideration, it starts to get a bit dear

            Yeah i didn't think the cost was too bad, i am going to go with my girlfriend, its only £50 for two, but a bit of a trek!
