    what to plant and how much?

    I've got a mini planter doodah coming Dimensions 97cm x 97cm x 25cm Height.

    I'm really wondering what will grow well in it and how much i should plant so as i don't have loads of something at once?.

    Any tips would be greatfully recieved

    ps. i'm a complete newbie so no big words thankyou muchly

      Veggies i have some lettuce, spring onion, beetroot and rocket seeds. Will these take and grow ok in this size of tub?.

          If I am right your planter is not so mini almost a square yard and about 10" deep.

          All the plants you mentioned above will grow in there and much more besides.

          Can I suggest that you look for the threads on square foot gardening I don't do it myself but it may suit down to the ground (no pun intended).
