Default What is my bonus seedling?

I have a surprise in my pot! The one on the left is def a basil, but not sure about the one on the right. Is pretty strange as am sure I washed up the pots and used fresh compost etc... And sowed indoors so no birdies about.

Any thoughts? I think it may be a chilli? Hope so as I posted earlier about not having any luck with chillis!

Oooh yes! That looks like either a chilli or a pepper to me!

Looks like a chilli. I've had some odd seeds pop up in a peat free compost - not a good advert!

Could be a chilli but I wouldn't bet against a carrot either at this stage...

Hmmm, i've got seedlings that look like that too, and it was between carrot and chilli. I've decided to label my seeds now

I hope it's a carrot, can't get them to grow in the darn garden for love nor money, lol, just my luck to have one pop up in the house!

I think it must be a chilli, not done any potting of peppers for ages (relatively speaking) but did some chillis about a fortnight ago. Unless it was in the compost already, or maybe OH been playing tricks - he does say he wants the kitchen back as it's turned into a potting shed!
