  • what is this bean? and can i plant them next year?

    hi all

    went walking today with my better half whilst walking up a path along beside some alottments i found some beans on the ground but have no idea what they are and can i plant them next year?

        dumb question but as i have never grown runner beens before are they all this colour inside the pod?

              They look more like a borlotti bean, they are lovely to eat like runners and they can be shelled to go in stews too.

                      Yes it deffo looks like a runner, and no they are all slightly different in shades and size, and yes you can grow them next year after all frost has gone.
