    Packet says early spring?

I am in cambs and could use greenhouse or coldframe, to germinate or after.

Do they need heat to start them off? Packet only says to soak for 48 before.

    Thanks!

I would wait until at least the end of feb when any frosts arnt quite as harsh, if they do germinate and start to grow then the first frost that hits the seedlings will kill them, dont forget that even in a greenhouse it can fall below 0 on freezing nights. I registered -7.8 degrees as the coldest in my greenhouse so far this winter on a digital max min thermometer.

      Well, it's still midwinter.
You need to wait until April really. http://www.gardenaction.co.uk/fruit_...ragus-seed.asp

I'm going to be planting mine in March in the conservatory before potting on and moving out to the cold greenhouse. Have no idea if that's the best advice but seemed to fit with the packet instructions and what I could find on t'internet.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

            Thanks

I never know what they mean when they specify a season and not a month as we don't really have seasons anymore!
