  • Sugar Snap Pea

I have some sugar snap peas to grow this year and have never done peas before. The packet says to grow outdoors from March, can I start these indoors now or do they not like the heat??

Any other tips on them would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

They don't need it hot. However, lots of garden pests love them! I usually start them in March in pots or root trainers and put them where I want them at about 6" high. Check how high they grow - there are several varieties around. You might need to give them some support. Once they start coming, pick them as they become ready and you'll get even more.

They usually get slugged here. I would start mine in the greenhouse - just because I can. It's not heated though.
