    Just a couple
Can I dry garlic and onions in the greenhouse? Most books suggest the shed but mine is full!

Do new potatoes store well? My harmony 2nd earlies are ready and the leeks are desperate to get in the ground. I have hessian sacks to store them in.

    Thanks in advance

Early potatoes don't store well at all so are best dug and eaten on the day!

It depends how many potatoes you have, and where they'll be stored Fi. If there's about a week's worth and you have somewhere cool to put them (pantry, garage, cellar) then they'll probably keep ok. I found mine kept better if I cut the tops off the plants first, then left the potatoes in the ground for a few days so the skins 'set' before digging them up.
