Hi I've just noticed that some of my peas are ready to harvest but do I cut the stem above the pod or just pull the pod off?

If you just pull you could damage the plant, so pinch the pod off the stem using your fingers/fingernails or some scissors.
Give the plants a good water after you pick, if your weather has been dry as they can get mildew easily. -

If the pods are ripe then pulling them should not cause any problems.
