opinions needed please

All look pretty good to me. The leaves on the spinach look like the oldest leaves dying off which they do naturally.

The dead leaves on your spinach look like they are just the seed leaves, which die away naturally when a plant is producing true leaves.
Are you growing everything in pots minibodkin, or will you transplant?

thanks for that, only got pots at the mo my gardens not suitable for planting but im thinking about making raised beds and using the square foot method plus i have larger grow bags and the shallow plastic planters

You are a much tidier gardener than me. I've got such a hotch-potch of pots and planters...nothing matching! I started off just using pots/containers then took the plunge late last year and dug up half of the lawn much to the OH's horror!!

Oh thankyou, as ive just sterted out ive just started off with 2 walk in greenhouses and been buying pots weekly as they have been growing been trying to buy everything as cheap as i can so poundland was great for pots and seeds, b & q has been great too the 3 potatoes sacks including 3 sets of potatoes i have were just �1, i got a basket with soil and beetroot seeds i have around 30 pots from this and this cost me �2, i got about 10 swede (not in pics) part grown for 50p plus ive been in on 3 for 2 days and and the recent bogof one. was trying to buy cheap incase it didnt work had a few die on me already but feel more confident about buying dearer stuff now.

Actually I think you are boasting LOL they all look pretty/very good to me.

Both the cumbers and the tom are ready for a stake support and don't forget to armpit the tom.

The potatoes are a little behind and the small pot is to dry, potaoes are mostly water so as the tubers develop give them plenty.

Thanks for that i have got the canes ready and waiting so i will do that tomorrow, what do you mean by armpiting the tom? what do you mean by potatoes been behind? i planted them around 5/6 weeks ago.
The small tub is a pepper or chilli plant, potatoes in the 3 black sacks.

Armpiting a term used on the vine for removing the side shoots at the leaf joints on indeterminate toms.

The holes in your pepper leaves look like flea beetle. They're not too much bother to the plants really. If you want to get rid of them, you can put something sticky on a bit of wood (vaseline?), leaving a bit bare at the bottom and run it through the soil - they'll jump up and get stuck on the vaseline. Or so I'm told

I never bothered with it, just left them to get on with things.
