    Everything.

Time for runner beans and french beans to be planted, courgettes, squash, pumpkins,
Plug plants ahoy at various places for brassicas etc.

If you are on a nice site then you'll probably be offered some plants by other plotholders.

Loads can be can still be started from seeds now. Beetroot, turnips, lettuce as All Digging says bean, peas etc. Not much planted out yet in my plot. Lots waiting in the wings

Lots of salads, perfect time for any sort of beans, peas, sugarsnaps/mangetout, beetroots. Also dont worry as its your first year why not check out plants from your local nursery or on the tinterweb.

Watch the weather forecast and be prepared to give your plants frost protection. A good indicator for planting out is an Ash tree, if you have one near your plot and the leaf is out it should be ok. to plant out

Hi Stuarts It's a good time to be ready to plant. Looking at your location, I would start sowing tender plants like beans, squashes, pumpkins, courgettes in pots indoors and then start hardening them off, you won't be able to plant them out properly for at least 2 weeks.

Peas, beetroot, cabbage, broccoli, cauli, lettuce, chard/spinach beet, leeks should all be good to go outside now though, as long as they're hardened off
