Ok, i have been scanning my huge garden in the hope of finding somewhere i can built a veg patch.
i have attached a pic of outside my back door.
i am thinking of getting the slabs and grass lifted and making a rectangle of soil. do i just cut the grass into squares to remove it and dig in some compost (soil is clay) as i am going?
i dont want to put any borders in just in case we have to move (forces family).
will i be okay so near the path and near the washing whizzy? i am thinking washing on the whizzy might deter birds???
i am hoping to do something this weekend as my peas, radish, lettuce and courgettes are ready to be planted out.
