Default I hate being away

Because of a combination of the rubbish weather we've had recently, and me feeling pretty rubbish, I haven't been on the plot for about two weeks and I'm getting twitchy.

Feel remarkably familiar!

I know what you mean hun, was on my hols last week and couldn't stop thinking/worrying about the plot even though I'd got it all just so before I left. Think I just need time in my little sanctuary!

Have you been poorly?

I felt like that yesterday......it rained from Monday through till Tuesday night. I was off yesterday and sat for most of it, perched on the sofa arm gazing out of the window willing the rain to stop!! Felt like a prisoner in my own home!!! Crazy!!!

Just a bit of a cold I think. The upside is that I've been making a killing on the cabaret circuit with my Barry White & Leonard Cohen impressions. I even did a stint as Tom Waits for a day or so, but it didn't last...

Hope you enjoyed your hols - Canary Islands wasn't it?

Take a big bucket for the weeds chuck! I've hoiked pounds off mine in just the last week. However, on the good side, you outght to see my climbing beans, the Lanc Lad peas are in abundant flower and the red cabbage and black kale are positively butch. Hope you're feeling better soon.

I was just trying to explain that "restless twitchy" feeling to Mr Sheds. I am so miserable being indoors in this dark little poky house (whereas he loves it, sitting on Arris watching TV is heaven for him).

What made me specially grumpy was the BBC online forecast said blazing sunshine - while it was actually drizzling. it's going to be carp weather for the next 5 days too.

I live not far from you Twosheds, and the BBC gave us the same forecast - I wish someone had looked out of the window - grey and drizzly all day!!
