  • How can I help my poor conifers?

I have 6 slim column type conifers - about 5.5 feet tall. They had been rather neglected over the summer in pots. Some of them have brown patches on the leaves.
We put them in the ground at the weekend and gave them loads of water.
Is there any hope for them? any food/supplements I can give them?

Hello tracyk, until their roots establish in the ground you need to give them lots of water sprayed over the foliage and a foliar feed. Phostrogen should do the job. I hope they pick up for you.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Sorry, I can't understand why anyone would want to help conifers (too many Leylandii hedges round here), but Alice's advice is good.
