I'm thinking of getting a small greenhouse - there are some dead cheap ones with a floor-area of 6'x4' advertised in this month's GYO - but am wondering about siting it. There's nowhere in my garden that I could put it where it wouldn't be in dappled shade from trees at least quite a lot of the day, especially a few years from now, when my new apple trees have grown to something approaching their ultimate dimensions. Does this matter?

From my experience yes it would matter and have just finished resiting my greenhouse because a neighbours tree shaded it from about 15.00pm onwards during the summer -
i've been looking at greenhouses too,
i was promised a greenshed (half green house half shed) which was pretty cheap but then they changed their mind and i couldnt have it anymore
