Well yes Frank, but I'm not hopeful...
Every year I intend to grow parsnips - cos I like them, but organic ones are hard to get sometimes - and (almost) every year I fail to get round to germinating them. This year I was going to germinate seeds in damp kitchen towel, and then plant them out. But I don't know yet what is happening with my allotment, since the shop it is attached to has been sold, so I thought I might stick them in my tattie patch up near the village.
Said tattie plot has rabbits, and no fencing. (Actually, no tatties as yet, but that's another story.)
Hence my question. Are you about to tell me that I have missed the boat for planting the seeds out ?

Sorry Veggie, the question was, "How many daft answers can you get from a cluster of Grapes ?"

Why are you worrying Snoey? Let the rabbits eat the tops and you can eat the bottoms - seems fair to me

On a serious note, the answer is yes they do and shrews eat the bottoms as well as humans!

Shrews eat bottoms ? And human bottoms ?! Why is this not in the papers ?

Mothawk, that jiving banana with the sign is doing my head in. If I had a gun, I'd be doing some serious target practice..!

AP, thank you for the encouragement. It is nice to know that there are still some serious, knowledgeable gardeners out there on the Vine - even if it is only you and Roitelet !

I feel insulted and offended by your comments - Sno If you had asked a question instead of encouraging us to "guess the question" you may, just may, have received a sensible answer from me. Highly unlikely, I admit, but sometimes I surprise myself
I'm going now, I may never speak to you again.............
