Default confused about parsnips

what is the toilet roll method as i have heard people talking about it, but still i am none the wiser.

any help will be much appreciated.

sowing the seed in the central cardboard tube from a loo roll, and then planting it out "whole" so that the plant gets no disturbance.

In general Parsnips and Carrots cannot be transplanted.

You also have to transplant the loo roll before the tap root hits the seed tray, so really as soon as the leaves appear it is ready to plant out
