  • Compost to soil ratio

    Hi Folks

I composted a lot of sods of grass last year and was looking to use it in my raised beds/containers. Looks great stuff and full of worms

I was wondering what should the compost to soil ratio be for it to be used successfully.

    Many thanks
    Neil

what you have made is really just a loam based compost. I would be happy using that neat but if you need more soil to fill your beds, use what you need and mix it.

Just pile it on top of your raised beds.

They are new containers. Not enough to go round so a wee bit of compost is a must
