Hi I've just bought a few bits to make some cloches, im sure you know the ones there made out of water pipe
That's the easy bit but I haven't got a clue about the rest lol

if I encase the whole cloche in plastic is it ok or do the plants need to get air?
do they suffer damage from the snow?

I'm going to have a go at garlic I've got a raised bed, do they even need a cloche?

    thanks

Garlic doesn't need cloche protection Spunky, specially down in Bristol.

How big are your cloches going to be?

Thanks rusty will the snow not damage the garlic? Sorry for sounding naive its all new to me
I'm not sure of the sizes tbh, my raised beds are 1.2m square i could do them that size or a 2.4 x 1.2m and put everything in it, i only grow in pots and 80 percent of them are the morrisons pots so i would think i could get quite a few in there

Sorry, I'm confused. You say you have raised beds, and then you say you only grow in pots. Which is it?

I know how RL is struggling to understand this - because I am too
You grow in 2 raised beds but are the pots in the raised beds or completely separate?
