Can I sow rocket in coldframe now?

Dont know much about sowing but if its any help I have ice on the inside of my greenhouse and inside my car! would a cold frame be any warmer?

Hi Janeyo...
I have rocket growing outside right now in some modules..in an arbour!! And I live in Leeds. I'd sow the seed indoors and either pop it out in the coldframe once it germinates or grow it on inside for a while and put out later in the frame. I'd just cover the frame with an old blanket if a hard frost is forecast and open it during the day if the weather's not too bad.

I tried growing it indoors, but it did a lot better when I put it outside

Thanks, I have actually sown some today but wasn't sure if it could go straight in the cold frame, but it's on a windowsill for now

My cold frame hasn't got frosted inside (yet), but it is on decking so maybe a bit warmer? Dunno.
