Default Cabbage root fly / compost

I planted some lovely purple kale, which was doing beautifully. Half of it on the allotment and the other half at home in pots.

The stuff at home in pots got cabbage root fly (little white grubs) and rotted off at the roots. Should I send the compost to the tip or can I re-use it?
