    Evening all

I've finally got around to taking a Ph test on my soil and was surprised to find the result came up with an alkaline reading (although the test didn't give me a precise reading).

I know that brassicas prefer an alkaline soil, problem is that I don't have any brassicas in

Would the sweetcorn / garlic / peas / rocket benefit from a more Ph neutral / acidic soil ? If so, can anyone point me in the right direction ?

    Thanks in advance !

    Don't worry too much.

The only thing you won't grow well are acidic lovers like azalea, rhodos etc.

Even tatties thrive in alkaline soil..........you've just got to rub a bit of harmless scab off them thats all!
