They look pretty! Are they worth growing to eat? What eats THEM (eg. bugs, slugs?)? Any tips?

More importantly - anyone got a few seeds?!

    Cheers

    Hi Crisiwisi,

They are pretty, they produce very red beutiful flowers, the peas will be around 2.5 to 3 cm long( the bigger one became stringy ) and you will need to grow laods of them to be able to serve them on the plate. Their enemies will be slugs. Sorry, I don't have the seed.

    Cheers,
    Momol

Grew them this year and yes they are pretty but as a vegetable they were a waste of garden space. IMO

Sorry but I threw the remaining seeds away

        Hi
I am growing some now - the first flower came out today so they will be a late crop. Usual slug rules apply by the looks of it.
If they aren't a success, you can have the rest of the seeds - come back to me in october and i'll let you know [if you don't find any from someone else]
