For two weeks now I have been feasting on vegtables I have grown. Such a good feeling. Red Duke of York potatoes, onions, garlic, salad leaves, cucumbers, broad beans, peas, tomatoes, spring onions and kale. I have some huge cabbages that I haven't cut yet. Purple sprouting broccoli, spinach, kohl rabi, carrots, leeks and romenesca and Sapo Mira potatoes look healthy. Fingers crossed. Aubergines are flowering, sweetcorn is waist high and butternut squash doing well underneath. Not so healthy...runner beans, looking anemic; radishes were hollow inside; climbing beans looks spindly. Sweet peas in abundance and half a dozen huge sun flower plants. All the herbs look great...except summer savoury which defeated me. It has been so much fun. Thank you for all your help and advice. I couldn't have done it without you.
