    Brown patches on young Tayberry plant.

    Just wondering if anyone can help my fading memory

    I'm growing a new Tayberry from a cane I 'layered' last year, it's doing OK but as the new leaves develop I've noticed some brownish patches appearing.

    I think this might be some kind of mineral defficiency, but which one :?: there's so many, and my searches on here and elsewhere have been a failure.

    If it only over the last few days, it is probably the frost that has caught the new leaves while they are still fragile

      agree likely frost if its only recent - mine have it now - didn't a couple of week back

        Thelma / Baldy - Thanks for that, we have had some frosty mornings recently, I hadn't considered it but sounds logical. It is always nice to get a reply and on this forum people are so helpful
