Has anyone tried the seeds from moreveg? Any good?

  • #2
I always have some bits and bobs from Moreveg.

They have always been very good seeds and they suit us as they are normally in smaller packs because we grow in teeny raised beds and containers.

Personally, I would recommend them but I don't know what the others think about them.

I get most of mine from More Veg, (Rachel). Nice size packets of seeds for what is general growing.
Actually have a list that I need to order now from MV, think just 5 or about that many packs this time.

            Good by me too

They are good if you have issues (not that it is a regular thing). One year I had squash that weren't true to the illustration and I was given credit for the cost of the seeds plus a little extra

I use them quite a bit. Love the smaller packs. I don't order online though, often see them in my local seedy Sunday.

I'd never heard of them up until now, so I have bookmarked them for future reference.

Yes, they're fine if you just want small amounts.

                        thanks everyone

that is great - I really like the idea of smaller amounts of seeds and am about to order from them - boosted by everyone's positive opinion. I must say I am impressed by the range they offer too. I came upon the site by chance googling for a particular type of courgette with good stuffing flowers !!

Yep, just had a browse there and they look like a cracking wee supplier. For instance, their range of tomatoes are impressive.

I've got most of my seeds for this year, so can't order anything now to justify the £3.75 postage fee to Ireland - but they are definitely bookmarked for the future.
