  • a sense of humour?

I got an email from the greenhouse people when I opened my computer, offering me watering solutions to stop my veg drying out, me, here, in Scotland, are they having a laugh?...it is good to see companies with a human fallible side, quite made my day..

Now you know why, when you go on your holidays,by the time you have your cases up to your room, those from north of the border are going red on their sun loungers, they say the english/brits don't get enough vitamin D, it must be like hens teeth up here..

You know what the French nickname for the English is? ( like why 'they' are known as 'Frogs')

yup- we are known as 'les rost boeufs'..roast beef....because we turn the colour of rare roast beef when we sunbathe.

And yes, everyone I know here has a prescription for Vit D..one vile every 3 months...even babies have daily drops of it!

We get our vitamins from IRN BRU (not sure of the spelling) and other similar health drinks,as long as they have no vegetables in them......
