yesterday we went to a big garden centre up near Gourock, about 30mls away, and for the first time ever I have got hold of a bag of "blue salad" potatoes, each year I have had to send away for them, Scottish bred tatties that were not easily available in Scotland, I could never understand that. so now looking forward to my blue chips and roasties in the autumn, MMMMM, cant wait as they taste brill....and only £2.99 a bag of 10...

That's one thing I can't get my head around ..... blue chips

Just doesn't seem the right colour for 'em, just seem to have it in my head they would taste of ink.

It's Scottish thing - we have to match the green spuds in case half of the nation take offence.
