Spotted these oddly named fruits on sale in Morrisons today. Tracked them down to Plums - Ben Dor Fruits & Nurseries

Well- they LOOK interesting
their names imply genetic crosses but they are clearly not.

Ben Dor breed there own varieties,I would be interested in how they taste,acidic? Supermarkets buy fruits for constant demand/storage reasons other than taste. This is quite interesting.
