  • New garden New chicken run

    Just moved into my new house, got myself a new chicken run now just for the garden, a blank cavas, the possibilities.........

    The possibility (likelihood) of no grass to cut.
    Looks good.
    Feed the soil, not the plants.
    (helps if you have cluckies)

      Thats a great run! Really good design. I bet you can get in and out easily without bending yourself in half and going in on your knees like I have to!
      You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

            I use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite,the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
