That's a fine piece of land you've got yourself there. I'm trying to work out where it is? I live just south of Aberdeen and am hoping to get my own plot so iv been searching online for any information. Iv applied to the city council but don't even know if they accept applications from the shire. There's not much else around here. You were lucky just having to wait 3 months and what a perfect time to acquire one. Look forward to seeing it develop. Happy Digging

Reply to Heated mat for Tom's and chilliesby raryI use a mix of six scoops of compost three scoops of sand/grit and two scoops of perlite,the quantity is unimportant as long as the ratio is the same, if for seeds I use this mix, if I am potting on I add some blood, fish and bone, along with a small quantity of chicken manure pellets
