New Year's Day flower count...results....

I've just been reading this....

BBC News - Unusual number of UK flowers bloom

I noticed on Xmas day that the local gorse was in flower....when I normally associate it with May.

Yes, I've noticed a lot of the whin is flowering in hedges over here too, rather odd for this time of year.
