  • What can I plant in my polytunnel to harvest this year and during the colder months?

    Evening all,

I have just removed my tomato plants as they have died off and now I have a polytunnel which contains only my grape plant and a few chilli plants.

What can I plant in it now that I can eat this year/over the colder months?

    Many thanks,

    Samuel

Pak choi, mizuna, tatsoi and mustard, for stir fries.
Rocket, cress, Seeds of Italy's Misticanza Quattro Stagioni (mixed lettuce and radicchio) corn salad.
      Perpetual Spinach.

I usually start kale, and spring cabbage and a few lettuce in August and have plants ready to replace the toms come Sept. Get yourself some plug plants from the GC (they may still have a few) if you haven't got any waiting in the wings.

There's not much apart from a few greens that will give you a crop in 12 week with shorter days and cooler temps

Probably just about time for a crop of turnips if you get them in this weekend.
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
          Pumpkin pi.
