My OH was watching me planting alpines the other day - a muddy mess really. And he said that he thinks gardeners are just little kids who haven't quite grown up enough yet and are still happy playing 'slobby-dosh'!! (Yorkshire slang for messing about in the mud and enjoying yourself) I also love it when I put compost on as a mulch and it's too dry then I spend my time with the hose pipe and a trowel mixing the compost into thick goo! hahah splodge!You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...
