Thats a wierd one, I would be compelled to let it grow just to see what happens.

        The nutrients one is interesting.
It's in a bed which doesn't grow a huge number of weeds.
The next but one bed also doesn't do well and had three weeds in which I dug out yesterday. I've put a bit of comfrey in that one assuming it'll throw down roots a long way and suck up nutrients.

They're in the shade of a tree.

I have some chard in the shade of a eucalyptus tree, I've told the missus its ornamental cabbage. If she thought I was growing veggies in her beds she'd go loopy.

Chard comes in lots of funny colours - it could just be the plant.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
