  • Thornless Blackberry

Hi, I am looking for a tasty thornless blackberry, does anyone have any recommendation?

I've got "Loch Ness", which does me fine. I think it is one of the older thornless ones, there are quite a few now. Unfortunately I don't have another to compare it to, in terms of taste or cropping. It does crop over several weeks which is useful, but I think all blackberries are like that!

I got a Boysenberry, tastes like a good blackberry but with bigger berries - It's yum!

ALDI currently have 3 fruit bushes for £2.49 and offer a thornless Blackberry (name escapes me)

I have Loch Ness and Waldo.
Both good, not the classic bramble taste but nice.
One has longer canes then the other but they are so mixed up now I have no idea which.
Both will touch down the tip of a cane and create a new one, so watch that.
That is why I have lost track of which is which, started with one of each now have about 4 of each and have given away a good number.
Neither seem to get "bushy", usually about 3 canes, whichever the long one is the canes can be 12-18 feet long.
