  • Crimson Broad Beans wanted

Hi all, Can anyone spare even 6 crimson broad bean seeds? I had a packet, but they have rotted. I have nothing to swap at the mo, but can send you an SAE. Thank you

AAArrggh I planted out the last of my Bunyards Exhibition today. If I can rescue some you are welcome. I'll have to check them in the morning.

          Hi Two sheds,

Can't help you now but remind me later & I'll be able to. I was given 4 seeds last year & have about 12 to plant this year ( maybe a few more not sure) but they will all be for seed this year ( I ate a few just to try them).

            Can you answer my question?
I have sown some red epicure in pots in the Greenhouse. How long will they roughly take to germinate?
The greenhouse is not heated is that ok?

Ahh, just re-read this one & got confuzled I think - I asumed(read) it as crimson flowered Broad beans rather than Crimson Broad Beans - Sorry Two Sheds.

              Hi Vicki,

I would have thought hey would be OK and most broad beans are tough little blighters. 7 - 10 days I would guess never really took much notice
