    shall I just pop him in the house?

    having a bit of a worry moment! the new man has arrived! he's a silky! the freinds decided best to give him to me as he's the trouble maker, he's called Socks apparently he's in a box waiting for les filles to go to bed then I'll pop him in with them. In the morning have to leave just after I let them out, am worried that the girls will hurt him, am I being stupid? will he sort them out despite size difference?

    depends how old he is. Put it this way for all the picking on he takes now he will dish out ten fold in the future

      he's two years old,but bantam size, they are normal hens.All in bed now, it's the morning I'm worrying about!

        If he's used to being with girls then he will be fine. He may get pecked a little in the morning but I'm sure he will soon put them in their place.

                  lol walldanzig!! how will i recognise little man syndrome in a cockerell?, will he get all touchy about the neighbour's big one?!! (cockerell!!)
