A lot of the allotment holders (the old boys) grow flowers on the plots as well as veg.
I've got a few pots down on mine but these are refugees from OH's garden. I have too much work to do developing the plots at present but must admit my plans are to have flowers all along the front apron by the footpaths.I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.Comment

Yes I get that down on the first lottie, but on the second (still a work in progress....) I think I've got everyone's full support on growing my flowers. Apparently the chap before me burnt down the shed, plum tree and pulled up the flowers etc that were there when he took it on, and everyone around me keeps whistfully commenting on how "ol Jack's" plot used to be so lovely with the plum tree and flowers.
