    show pot leeks

    hi all. i am wanting to know how to grow pot leeks as its my first year trying. any advice ???? i ahve constructed a trench 4f by 10f and whats the recommended leeks to grow in this plot??

          You are asking about something that people in the north east consider close to the ultimate secret My uncle grows them and I get told nothing about how to grow the really big ones. All I want to do is eat the damn things not show, and I am 250 mile from him

          Show leeks tend to be grown from the bulbils, they get a bit of an extra start that way. Medwyn Williams has a web site and has grown show leeks for some time, give it a go.

          Medwyns Prize Vegetable Seeds

          The site has seeds that he has (supposidly) developed for size.
